If you didn’t know this already, my brother, Pablo, is autistic. April is autism awareness month. I adore my brother in every way possible. My school agenda is bordered with puzzle pieces in his honor (I’m serious. It took me 3 days to finish. Ask Missy. I did hers too.) But lately, what bugs me is that I say my brother has autism & people apologize. Honestly, why would you say sorry for that? Or people who tell their disabled kids that they’re “just like everybody else”. The fact is: they’re not. If they’re just like everybody else, why are you still looking for a cure? Support. Love. Care for gods sake. Autism is not a disease. Awareness is.

FUNNY. Yet, slightly offensive. None of it applies to me. Well, almost none. I do actually have one of those finger mustaches drawn on my finger at this very moment though. . . But still. I’m white. I feel left out of the loop. *insert sad face here* Check it out. http://stuffwhitepeoplelike.com/

Are you serious? Are you fricken serious? Did I not just move like a month & a half ago? There honestly putting me through this again? WTF, man?! My dad’s moving. What the heck. This is insane. They only looked at houses for 2 weeks. Ugh. This should be interesting……..

It’s rather sad, actually. I had no idea who was even playing in the super bowl till last night. But we spent like 2 hours building this monstorous foot ball stadium dip thingie. It took for ever & about halfway through we ran out of twinkies & had to run back to the store. The whole thing ended up being some where near 24,000 calleries (no joke) & was over $120 in snack foods. It ended up really cool though.

Sooo hello again world! Ok so remember the halloween party I mentioned in my last post? Well yeah, it was awesome. So I wore my moms halloween costume from last year (as weird as that sounds, i did) & I looked amazing. With the 6 inch shoes & tall blonde wig I’m atleast 8 inches taller if not more, which was fun considering (<-- did I spell that right?) I'm only 5ft & 1/4in. & my friend who was throwing the party was a tellietubbie, which was hillarious. So uhh.... Yeah..

Hi there, Kayley’s mom here. I saw Dylan’s comment about Yo Gabba Gabba being scary and I thought, gosh. Somebody needs to educate these poor children. So, I tracked down this video. Dylan, spend 4 minutes of your life watching this – you’ll see the real deal behind the show. It’s AWESOME! And the music is great! Yay!

Anyway, fall break is finally here, halloween party for my friends birthday tomorow night. Trunk-or-Treating (trick-or-treating from the back of your car) at the kids school was tonight. That was interesting. Uhhhh…… god! My life must be boring you. So I’ll have pictures of my costume & all that fun stuff soon. BYE BYE!!!!!!!

So it’s spirit week at school & the only day I really felt like participating in was Retro day. So, I told my mom this & she vowed to help with my hair. I did my own make up, using my bight blue eyeshaddow & bubblegum pink lipgloss. That was actually the first time I had used either of those. Then I wore my mom’s chopped-up ACDC tee shirt with neon green fishnets under my cut off jean shorts. Oh, & dont forget the fingerless fishnet gloves.

Now compair me & my mom @ an 80s-themed party.

My mom, looking almost as 80s-ish as I did.

Can you tell we’re wearing the same shirt?

Well I’m off to go wash out the hairspray.
Later.
